I’ve totally been in your shoes. Finding local people to help with small jobs should be simple, but it turns into a full-on scavenger hunt sometimes. I tried posting in groups and asking around, but someone finally sent me a link to Local Business Directory and it was honestly the easiest thing ever. You can look up your town and then scroll through whatever category you need—plumbing, snow removal, whatever. I hired a local guy to do my deck repairs and he was fantastic. Found him in less than 10 minutes through that site. The best part is it’s all local, so you’re not wasting time calling companies that don’t even service your area. Give it a shot—I’ve used it a few times now and it’s been super helpful every time.

Yes! Thank you for posting this. I’ve been meaning to hire a couple people for small jobs around the house but kept putting it off because I didn’t know who to trust or where to even start. This directory looks like a solid option—it’s nice to see something that’s actually focused on this region for once. Definitely gonna spend some time on there later tonight and hopefully line someone up this week. Appreciate the nudge!
